The Association of Consulting Engineers Malaysia (ACEM) will be conducting the following courses:

(a) Induction Course for new M&E Engineers

The course is open to new mechanical or electrical engineers who have no formal training in M& engineering practice, engineers in consulting engineering firms with up to 2 years’ experience, and also to mechanical or electrical engineers in government and semi-government departments assigned to mechanical or electrical engineering design works.

Date: 2nd, 9th, 23rd & 30th April and 7th May 2011 (Saturday)
Time: 9.00 am – 1.00 pm
Venue: The Women’s Institute of Management

              Taman Tun Dr. Ismail, KL.
BEM approved CPD: 24 hours
Fee: RM 650 (ACEM member); RM 750 (others)

(b) 1-day Course on Engineering and Construction Insurances

The course aims to introduce participants to the basic principles of insurance, practice in Malaysia and how it works for engineers.  The course is suitable for all levels/disciplines of engineers, especially those dealing with contracts, construction and risks related issues.
